The British Amateur Taekwondo Association have been around since 2005,
with all instructors having been training for 20 years, following the ITF style of Taekwondo as taught by Choi.
All instructors are fully trained and hold an Instructors Licence and have been CRB checked.
All senior instructors hold a referees and umpires certificate for National and International competition.

About Us
The B.A.T.A was formed in 2005 by Kevin Jackson 5th Dan, Brian Long 5th Dan and Hanna Bellamy 3rd Dan.
We follow the ITF style laid down by Major General Choi Hong Hi.
The idea behind the BATA is to make Taekwondo accessible to everyone.
Learning a skill which will help you through out your life.
Building confidence, increasing fitness, mobility and flexibility, and teaching you self-defence.
All of the instructors are fully trained, licenced , fully insured and have been training for many years.
All instructors are CRB checked.
We welcome students of all ages.
We believe in learning while having fun.

The British Amateur Taekwondo Association teach children from 10 years upwards.
There is no maximum age limit.
Students are welcome to join at any time as lessons are built around different levels of experience.
We are quite happy to answer any questions you have. |

| All clubs offer the first lesson free, this allows you to try out and see if Taekwondo is for you. Just call the instructor, details in the contact us page, or turn up on the training night to give it a try. |
